My name is Hannah Mentz, and I'm a professional photographer, a mother of two wonderful children, and a devoted dog lover. I love coffee, traveling and devoted to yoga.

When it comes to family shoots, I'm passionate about capturing real-life moments with the people we love the most. I know how quickly children grow up and change, which is why I love to create timeless images that you and your family will treasure for years to come. My style blends documentary and lifestyle photography with traditional portraiture to make sure everyone is in the picture. I strive for clean, natural colours and classic black-and-white photography that won't look dated over time. I love to use natural light and outdoor settings to capture the essence and joy of family life and childhood. If you prefer, I'm also happy to document your family life at home, where everyone is most comfortable. I understand that being in front of the camera can be nerve-wracking, so I make sure to put my subjects at ease from the very beginning.

As a lifelong dog enthusiast, I appreciate the unique energy that our four-legged friends bring into our lives. Whether in the comfort of your own home, in a studio setting, or on location, I offer dog shoots that will capture your pet's personality and spirit.

I've had a nomadic existence between England and Africa, growing up in Zimbabwe before starting my photographic career in London over 22 years ago. After 15 incredible years in Cape Town, I've recently relocated to beautiful Bath. My portraiture work has been published in the Guardian, and I've had the pleasure of doing commercial work for global brands such as Astra Zeneca and Danone. My work has also been recognised and awarded by The Association of Photographers (London) and The Commonwealth Institute.
